Mein jo mehka toh meri shakh jala di uss ne,
Sabz mausam me mujhe zard hawa di uss ne.

pehle ik lamhe ki zanjeer me bandha mujh ko,
Aur phir Waqt ki raftar barha di uss ne...

Jaanta tha ke mujhe maut sakoon bkhshe gi,
woh sitamgar tha so jeene ki duaa di uss ne...

Uss ke hone se thiin saanse meri dugni shayad,
Woh jo bichra toh meri umar ghata di uss ne....!
