Porus (TV series)
The story begins in Bharat (India) at the time of 350 BC. Darius III and his assistant Marius reach the port of Paurava Kingdom, ruled by King Bamni, as the first step of a Persian invasion in Bharat. A competition is going on between Takshshila and Pauravas, who were cut-throat rivals. Before the event begins, Ambhi, King of Takshshila, humiliates Amatya Shivdutt, King Bambi's brother. In that event, King Bamni defeats King Ambhi and earns the rights to conduct business on River Jhelum. In the court of Pauravas, Darius offers them a huge amount of money for allowing him to conduct business in Bharat, but following the advice of Princess Anusuya, King Ambhi's sister, Bamni turns down his offer. On their way to Takshshila, Ambhi and Anusuya are attacked by the Paurav Army, led by Shivdutt, as per advice from Darius. King Bamni arrives there and stops the battle. Anusuya, wishing to see a united Bharat, suggests Bamni that they should marry each other in order to unite the Pauravas and Takshshila. Bamni accepts this logical proposal. On the next morning after marriage, Bamni reveals that as revenge for Shivdutt's humiliation, he had married Anusuya and then leaves her. Meanwhile, Darius comes to Anusuya and offers his army and fleet to her in order to take her revenge from King Bamni, but Anusuya declines the offer. Finally, King Bamni realizes his mistake and accepts Anusuya as his wife.
The cast has already been finalized. While some characters from Pehredaar Piya Ki series are being carried over into this new series, new cast members have joined them too. Rohit Suchanti has replaced child actor Affan Khan as a recast of Ratan Singh followed by Siddharth Shivpuri, Gauri Singh and Khalid Siddiqui.

The story of the show depicts the journey of a homemaker. The story revolves around the passion of food and the love story of Mehek Sharma and Shaurya Khanna, who live their lives in different ways. Shaurya is rich and wealthy restaurateur while Mehek is the middle class girl. Cooking is her hobby and passion which she inherited from her dead mother. Everyone is fond of her food. She is asked to participate in a competition, India Super Cook competition by her family to impress her potential to her would be in-laws. This competition is coincidentally judged by Shaurya Khanna. Unaware of each other, they had already met on a social networking site under different names. While Shaurya hates middle-class behavior, Mehek is as caring. As the competition starts, Shaurya instantly hates and judges Mehek for being a middle-class girl. He is rude to her however, Mehek retaliates by insulting him. Shaurya gets furious as no one had spoken to him in such harsh behavior but he plans to avenge his insult. His first step towards the revenge is getting Mehek's uncle locked up. But Mahek decides to escape leaving behind a letter which states that she is going to Agra for her self-respect. Once Mahek reaches Agra, Shaurya makes her drink alcohol and she reacts in a completely intoxicated manner. Shaurya arranges media to record and spread the video all across. The video goes viral and when Mahek gets to know of it, she slaps Shaurya. Mahek, in rage, quits the competition that instance. Shaurya realizes his mistake and apologizes to Mahek. She forgives him and then their relationship takes another turn. Meanwhile, Ajay and his mother get greedy of Mahek's prize money and propose her for marriage, again. Even though the whole family disagrees, Mahek agrees to marry Ajay due to her grandfather's stubbornness. Shaurya gets uneasy knowing that Mahek is about to be married as he starts to feel for her. He warns Mahek of her fiance time and again because of his ill-mannered behavior but Mahek turns a deaf ear every time. On the other hand, Mahek's cousin Nehal is sad as she had a secret affair with Ajay. Ajay rejects Nehal and warns her about leaking her pictures if she reveals about them to her family. Nehal attempts to commit suicide, however, she is saved by Shaurya. Later Ajay and Pammi organize Mehek and Ajay's Mehendi at Shaurya's lawn after which Shaurya makes Ajay drink and records a video of Ajay telling the truth about the wedding in his drunkard state. Shaurya, on the day of Sangeet, reveals the truth and the wedding are canceled.

The Tapu Sena is a five-member group of children residing in Gokuldham Society: Tapu (the leader of Tapu Sena), Goli, Gogi, Pinku, and Sonu. These children have played significant roles, providing a fun young tone to the show. Usually, the group becomes a nuisance for the other members of the society because of their mischief, while at other times, it draws praises from the members by doing something laudable. The society secretary, Atmaram Tukaram Bhide is especially annoyed with the Tapu Sena for playing cricket in the society compound as sometimes they break the window glasses, or just cause a problem as shown in some episodes. Since the beginning of the show, the Tapu Sena has, with their childlike activities, characterized the typical frolicsome Indian children.
